they weigh 3500lbs empty.
i like the older ones better.
2004 or so.
but too damn heavy, if they lowered the weight by 400 lbs car the car would be super quick.

They are heavy, but my friend still ran a 14.2 in his, bone stock. It has AWD, (I love playing in the snow, but that would take it to a whole new level.) The VR6 sounds like sex.. and the DSG, yes I love a full manual, but I kick myself all the time while stuck in traffic, wishing I didn't have to be on the clutch all the time...

Is this a better option??

the r32 is a different breed of animal. the best way i can explain it is its speed for grown ups. like an evo or an sti is for younger kids so those cars are very focused on going fast so they have very tight suspension setups and brutal power delivery. the r32 has a very compliant ride and it is very heavy but it has linear power delivery and everything is smooth and deliberate. its not as tightly wound up so therefore its more relaxed. its fast but it has a more "grown up" mature feel. like i said its kinda hard to explain but if you ever get to drive an evo, sti and r32 back to back youll really know the r32 is in another field.
