Anyone get mileage reimbursement through your work?

Just out of curiosity, if you do and how much. I didn't know I did till today when my boss mentioned it cause I have to drive 100 miles today and our reimbursement is $.59 a mile, which seems awfully high but I'm not complaining

I do. $.69 per mile, but we don't use our cars often. Mainly if we drop something of to a customer on the way home or your in house and they need you to run a couple of cases to a customer.

I used to get around $.55 a mile for one company, and $.40 a mile for the travelling crew I used to work with(we routinly drove 200+ miles and stayed in a cheap hotel room for a few weeks and worked, then drove back), which wasnt bad for a focus, I made a little bit of money, but the other guys with thier f250's and 2500's didnt do so hot.

Yeah, I get like $.55 a mile I think whenever I go to business related events.
It is a tax writeoff for me, since I am a independent business owner.

The current amount alotted by the IRS is .55 per business mile. Anything over that is considered income and is taxable!
