Ford Finance Question WHO PAYS ???

Hi,i have heard from different dealers different stories<i know how bazaar !>

I have a good deal on an 09 ses coupe moon/tune/leather
,I told them i want to pay cash.

They said for the deal i would have to finance through Ford $10,000

Now here is the part i get two stories ,one dealer said just make three payments with three different checks within the first month and i have satisfied ford credit.he said if i use one check his dealership gets charged $500

Another dealer told me Ford credit will hold my title if i do that because i didn't honor the three months and "I" would have to pay $500 to get my title.

So can anyone tell me the truth ? Thanks in advance

they want you to incur some interest

if you still end up getting what you think is a good deal then i dont see why i would matter if you have to incur some interest for it

I don't have a problem with it for a month to get the deal i would rather not have to go Three month worth as it would not be such a deal if FMC charged me $500 to get my title. Also because then i have to insure it for fire and theft as i have a lean holder.

the bottom line on why they are doing this is...
banks dont make money on cash ;)

i would call some other dealers and see if they could match the deal and see if FMC says the same thing with the other dealer

True banks don't these days but FMC does.

As far as another dealer no one will match $15400 for this car.
Coupe $15,000
Dealer fee $400

I just want to know if i do like this dealer says give them three checks in one month will that satisfy Ford or do they hold my title hostage until i give them $500 or just hang in there till 3 months is up ?

Why do they make life so difficult ...

Tell them you are walking then... if the dealer lets a WHOLE cash payment walk out the door you prob don't want to do business there cuz they are ALL mentally challenged.

also it doesn't matter if the bank doesn't make anything off cash. You DO NOT turn down a person who will pay off the whole payment of the vehicle. The quicker the dealer gets the money.. the quicker it's invested. I get why they are doing it. They want the lending process to kick up more. Still the average person out there isn't offering to pay cash for a car. IMO the dealer is making a big mistake and i'd say see ya if i was you.

make that $15,900 because it sounds like youre not walking away from this deal...

give the dealer the checks, although i would seriously walk and try to get this deal somewhere else...

ive never heard of anything like this before but with the economic state, i can see why FMC wants to make a little bit of money from somebody.
