2009 focus coupe?

hey guys, and girls, im new here. recently looked at a 2009 focus coupe, SES i believe. i was wondering if anyone here had one, and would mind giving me a little review of what they think. is it a car you can mod performance wise that will make it worth it. or should i look at a different route. any and all input is greatly appreciated.

ben

Hey Ben....I just bought the SE coupe, 2009. It's basically the same as the SES, minus some sport tuning and cosmetic differences. I absolutely love my new car...it's a lot of fun to drive and gets awesome gas mileage. The mods you can do are pretty limited right now...there are CAI's, SRI's, and Focusport has an exhaust coming up just for the 2009 coupes. K&N does make a drop in filter for the non PZEV engines.

I would definitely recommend the car...if I could do again I would buy the manual transy, but my dealer didn't have any. You might like the SES more...it's actually not much more expensive and comes with most things standard that are optional on the SE. Let me know if you have any questions.

I just picked up the ses sedan, I know you were looking at a coupe, but mine would have the same options and packages. I love it, and like Bigjodan said, no one that just bought a car is going to give it a shit review.

The only things I can compain about are the flip down visors are too small and don't block out shit, and I've had the heated seat relay blow on me twice. So the heated seat would turn itself on and not turn off, very uncomfy 1 hour long commute to work. Part took 3 weeks to get to the dealership.

haha...true, though I honestly do love it. It's a very fun car to drive. This is my second Focus...traded in my 2006 ZX4 SES. The new models are quieter and more comfortable for sure.

I have a 2009 S with the manual trans... I didn't want all the electric locks and all that stuff.. The dealer let me test drive a 2008 SES, with 12,000 miles on it, for a week.. I loved the Sync feature. Did not like the automatic trans...

I guess I just like the S model better.

I have an 08 Coupe SES 5spd and I think it's a great car for the money. I got it for $14k out the door. Lots of features and I really like the sync.

I have a 2009 SES Sedan and I love it! There's a low amount of parts for it compared to other previous years, but you can still do a lot with it. For instance exhaust, headers, air intake (SRI) and more. The only thing currently not available is a flash tune. They will be released early 09 supposedly though!

I'm looking for a nice deal like that !

I'm watching one on eBay now, there seems to be a lot of them out there so in time i will have one.Last month i won a 2009 black ses from a Canadian seller that she won for a film she made in college, but she didn't set a reserve and for $11,600 Canadian i WON !!

One problem that would have been $9,500 US and she backed out of selling after the auction was over.

Needless to say i was not happy...

That's a nice price, what options did it come with ?

I won an SES 2009 brand new on e bay a month ago for $11,600 Canadian which is about $9,500 US.
Only problem the girl decided not to sell it !! I told her i would pay $12,000 Canadian.

She won it for a school project and said the dealer would give her $13,000 Canadian...
