found a 2000 focus

hey it is Aaron

i cam across a 2000 focus 5-speed but the info is all 2nd hand. Now the person wants $800 but it sound like a lot to me. Due to the car will not run or start (symptoms point to the timing belt), for the most part it said to be in good shape with no body flaws and has a clean title also registered to jun 09.

now i will try to go look at it as soon as i can.

I wanted to know what you think this car would be worth in its present condition. i think only $400 or $500 but i might just be low balling it but just wanted to get some other opinions.

remember i have not seen the car i will try this week end but i have been rebuilding a 1992 ranger (it might be for sale soon)

i will post pic when i see it

So you finally got the mast on the Ranger eh?

$800 seems like a reasonable price to me. Figure depending on the miles it's worth about $2500+ in good running order. So even if a shop would charge a grand or more to do the timing belt you could profit from it.

But that is all speculation being you really don't know a thing about the car and haven't see it first hand.
