Plug wires

I was thinking about getting a set of plug wires (more for looks than anything). So I was wondering would there be any difference between steeda.ca 8mm wires for $53.99 and fordracing 9mm wires for $60 cnd. Would new wires really make any difference other than looks? Also which spark plugs are you guys running? I don't really need to change the stock plugs as they only have 26000km on them but I thought sense I am changing the wires I might as well. Thanks

Autolite Double Platinums and as far as wires many here have the FR wires, I have Magnecor plus the wires can make a difference other than looks.

Save the cash from the wires and put it towards a strut brace or thrttl body....Wires are nice to look at but the diff. in h.p. is little to nill..

^^^^ well, for that matter, a strut brace really doesn't do squat, either.

the wires help smooth out the idle. that's about all i noticed (although it was a nice change for such a cheap price!). as far as the difference between the brands, probably none but i have a set of Ford Racing wires and am extremely happy with them!
