Tint ticket... any ideas??

I got a tint ticket the other day. And so far i'v paid $240 to the superior court of california. For the past tint tickets. And i just can not bring myself to tearing it off.
But this is it! last straw! I do not want to give in because i love how it looks, it keeps me safe while im driving through bad areas, and it keeps my car super cool while im in school all day.
Is there anyway around it? Any ideas?
Thanks

Nope. best bet it to get a lighter shade. I used to run Limo tint all the way around on my Honda. Only got hassled once when I got pulled over for : No front licence plate, Corner lights, Smoked tail light, Tint, and loud music. The cop was kew and let me pick one of them and told me to fix the rest!!!

Either get a lighter shade or learn how to lower your windows quicker! lol

See that's just the thing. If they can't see who's driving the car, then the bastards can't profile you either racially or any other way. Who the hell cares! Your windows are down when the cop comes up to your window so I never really understood this anyways. There could be someone in the backseat waiting to blow the cop away with a 9 or whatever and all they worry about is the front? If it's for the cop's safety, how are they endangered when driving by when someone has a tint? It's when they are pulled over when they are endangered and you always roll your window down anyways. Either all or nothing if you ask me. I see BMW, Mercedes & other high-end cars with limo tint and cops drive by them all the time without even taking a second look. What can they just afford the ticket every now and then or are they just ignored completely?

Sorry I just hate reading about stupid bullshit laws like this and like in the other thread about a front license plate.

Technically the reason for the No Tint law on the two front windows is due to the Lack of visability to the driver. Thats why you can tint rear windows but front doors and windshields you cant.

Yes It helps cops Profile a person, And believe me it has happened to me before! I got pulled over once, Car was super clean, I had a Freshly shaved head (I kinda either look like a Skin or a Cholo), And My windows were half cracked. Before you know it I was hand-cuffed and my car was being searched. Sure enough they didnt find anything and They heard my $.02. And lets just say "Racist Pigs" was a nice term to what I was telling them. They had no reason so they gave me a fix it ticket! A-holes

Honestly just lighten the tint and Limo the rears. It will make the front door windows look darker but with the ability to still see right in. Less is more. My honda was simple, And clean, and not coffee can out the back and I never got hassled besides like speeding. Jack (DirtBrown) had a coffee can and all and always got pulled over, and My car was still louder than his!!!

Nah. There's nothing else 2 do 2 get around it. I've been pulled over way 2 many times 4 my tint so I just pulled it all off. I needed 2 replace the tint anyway! There were a few scratches and marks on the tint. I wanna get limo tint but I try 2 avoid doing things like that so cops won't have an excuse 4 pulling me over. Ever since I pulled off my tint, I haven't been pulled over.

Move to a state with more liberal tint laws.

I think he is looking for a more realistic solution.

You cant get out of it unless you know a cop that can write it off. Like I said, Just take it off get it cleared and tint it with a lighter color. Believe me, no car should not have tint. Its the #1 thing I have done to all my cars. Tint then Lower! and exhaust. Its LAW in my book!
