What oil do you use?

As the title says.. I think im going to use Ams oil.. what i dont know is what weight to get.. i live in south texas so im thinking like a 5w-30, 5w-40(if available), or even a 10w-40.

Use the 5w30. Don't go any thicker. I use the amsoil 5w30 and their filter with no problems.

i see that u live in WA.. i was thinking of a 5w-40 or 10w-40 because it gets super hot down here... why do u say dont go any thicker?.. not trying to be a smart a$$ or anything, just wanna see your POV. you might now something i dont.. thank you

Well the car stock calls for a 5w20 which tells me the clearances in these motors are probably a bit closer than that of a 10 year old car. Going to a 5w40 or 10w40 might be too thick of an oil for these clearances and you might be doing more harm than good.

Hey Justin... even after my N/A modding is done u think I should stick with the Motorcraft 5-20 or change a bit...I think my last mod as far as power goes will either be cossie stg1 cams or something like that...Please advise.. or basically when should the oil weights start to change...this is a major concern to me...so help a brother out...[Thumb]

good I was hoping I could stay in that range...hey evan does the zone sell window cleaner that is tint safe? I saw some at WallyWorld for like 97cents, but before I bought it I thought i'd ask you....tryin to help keep u in a job...or at least keep the zone open...thanks for the info if you can offer any
