Coolant level in a new car

Hi guys, new here.
I own a 5/2008 focus 1.6 Ti-VCT and after 8500km i found out that the coolant level was a bit under the MIN level. Since it's a new car, i haven't even made the 1st service, do you find this normal or should i check it more thoroughly?
Of course i fill it up, it took some 100ml(50% Ford coolant+50% water) to go to the middle.

The owner's manual should tell you everything you need to know.

Really it depends on how you drive. If you like to drive a bit hard or fast then yes it should be normal. I haven't traveled to Greece, but I did live in Germany for 6 years, and I went through a lot more coolant there than I do here in the States.
Good luck.

I checked the manual, says the obvious. Coolant level must be between MAX and MIN. The official service says it could be normal, but i've to check it from time to time. I was under the impression that coolant level stays steady no matter the years or the use.
Thank you JPimpin03 for your answer.

I'd guess there was some small air pockets in the cooling system that worked out after a few miles. And the system is not completely sealed.....so some evaporation takes place, particularly in warmer weather.

Coolant levels should be checked on a periodic basis, at least monthly. I do it when the engine is hot......the level will rise slightly due to expansion.

I'd say....no worry for now.

I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on it and see if it's a trend.
