Tranny fluid swap

I was looking at changing my transmission fluid out and puttin in Royal Purple. How easy is it to change the tranny oil on an automatic?

Also, what all is involved in doing this?

Thank you for the help fellow FF members!

if it was a manual, it's just like a oil change, but without a filter. unplug/drain, plug/fill and go.

yeah its pretty easy. i just finished up about 7pm.
there is a write-up on this inthe "how to" sticky.
for the hardest part was pulling the pan and not fking anything up.
the easiest thing was removing the line. in the writeup by focusrun it says something about a clip on the line, but mine had a clamp and was a PITA to work,
the one by dezurtrat says the unscrew the end that connects to the tranny, i ended up doing that.

and im not sure how much $$ th RP is but the fluid drain/refil is recommended every 30k miles. and the filter swap is rated @ 60k miles.

It would be easier to get the fluid pumped out, you can be able to do it yourself but the problem is you won't really get all of the fluid out; and like I said the rest needs to be machine pumped.
