Question Car Color Comparisons

I like alliteration.

My 2000 CD silver SE Zetec sedan has a nice dark gray/ebony interior, but I don't find too many that match this. Most of the similar cars I find online seem to be a lighter/medium gray with black trim around the radio, buttons, etc. Was this interior color just not popular or were less made?

It's just fun looking for matching cars and I'm not finding too many. Also have that moonroof, which isn't too common. Maybe I'll be yelled at for making a stupid thread.

I know what you mean, the earlier models did have some different interior combinations and I know exactly what you mean. My 2001 had a darker interior then my friends car, think it was a 2002 or 2003. I can't find much doing a quick search on the internet for interior color choices back then, but I know there were differences. There was also a brown interior also I recall.

Exactly! I know nowadays they have certain color combos. If you get black then there's only these options and then a white color will change the options, or something along those lines. I just find it odd that so little CD silvers have my darker interior. There seems to be more with the lighter gray and the black trim. It's kind of neat since I feel more special.

I do see the tan/brown and light/medium grays. Very rarely that ebony. I'm very happy I got the darker color since I'm so messy anyway. If there was a color closer to white I would never go there.
