ARG! stupid deers, my poor baby

so i straight up destroyed a deer friday night, well, sat morning technically, hit it on the highway at 60mph, no pics yet though, i haven't been able to see it sense the accident.

if it is repairable i know i will need a new hood, front bumper, drivers head light and fender, mirror, and maybe a door

i was going to try and see if i could get the insurance money and get the replacement parts myself as after market parts tend to be cheaper, anyone have good sides for focus body parts? for some reason i can never seem to find a good site

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, but 60 mph.... if your car is repairable by insurance co standards, it was a really small deer. I bent the frame on a 92 ranger once cuz I collided w/ a deer at 55. I fixed it, but needed a frame pusher to get it done.

As far as body parts go, check w/ your local salvage yard, and if that fails, ebay has a few every once in awhile.

You're lucky you're alive!

(BTW, "deer" is used for both singular and plural - sorry, I'm an English teacher...)

my grandparents drove it the hour and some to get it home yesterday, said it drives fine, although she also tried to tell me to drive it to work and school minus a head light, and mirror, and drivers side wiper blade and a chunk of fur lodged in between the hood and headlight lol.
insurance people are taking they sweet time, i think it will be close though, and you just gave me an idea if it is, i so didnt even think about making the dealership find me an svt:D
i'll get a few pictures after class

deers is gettin pretty crazy it would seem, the night before the accident i almost hit one on the service road, and this one managed to take out two people, cause a lady came down the highway after us, i think she cliped the body cause the back of her car bounced up and then down hard enough to bottem out, lost control and hit the concrete median

my air bag didn't deploy either, i've had a few people suggest talking to a lawyer about that because apparently they's a lot of pending law suits due to faulty airbags
