Svt Questions???

What is a 2002 Ford Focus SVT worth, the options are as stated…

2002 Ford Focus SVT
Leather Seats
Heated Mirrors
Cruise
Auto windows and Locks
Hella style headlights
6 speed
78,000 km’s

This car is in Canada, so Canadian dollar would be good, the people are willing to do a trade for my vehicle which is a 200 ford focus zx3 with 110,000 km’s on it, in 5 speed with exhaust, stereo, and intake, and projector headlights, I figured around 6500, so I thought if I traded my car plus 3000 that would be completely fine.

Are the seats all leather, they didn't have that option in 2002, that would be a great deal then, those seats are like a grand just for the front 2

it should be worth around 9000can$
my friend just bought a 2002 SVT last week. he haggled the guy down to the 9000 range.
ps. the option you listed are pretty much standard equipment on a SVT. does it have heated seats? traction control? sunroof?

^^^KBB trade in value for your car (excellent condition) is $3,230. Good condition is $2,905.
If they'll give you $6,500...take it and run.
Private party sale is $4,635 (excellent) and $4,235 (good)

Keep in mind, exhaust, intake, and headlights are worth nothing on the trade in, nor private party sale.
A stock car is always worth more than a modded car, unless you find the right buyer that knows/appreciates the mods.
I realize you put a lot of work into the car getting it to where it's at, but 99% of the time, you won't recover the cost nor the labor with any modifications.

That SVTF (sounds like a bare bones model-no options) is worth about $8,755 (retail) and $6,780 (private party).

I agree with egman2005.
If you can get it for $3,000 plus your car, that's a good deal if it's in good shape, whether it's a no option model or not.
And, I don't see any options listed.

If it has heated mirrors, it'll also have heated seats and traction control...the "Cold weather package", which was optional.
I think the only other option in '02 was the sunroof, correct?

No, the heated mirrors were standard equipment on all SVTs.
The Cold Weather Package includes:
Traction Control, Heated Seats, and Engine Block Heater.

Available options for 2002:
Audiophile package.
Cold Weather Package.
Moonroof.

To saskatoon guy, its the black SVT around the city, guy use to work at visions, it seemed to be in good shape, I took it for a test drive tonight and it was pretty fantastic I must say. It has traction control, and sun roof, and heated mirrors and I even think seats.

The guy offered me my car plus 8000.00 for the SVT, I told him 3500 was max, he came back with some bs offer, I told him 4200 absolute max, he came back with 5900, I said 4200 max, he came back with lower, because of my tires and jazz, and I said "I will not give any more than 4200 dollars plus my car." he said "I will get you your deal, and call you in the morning." So we will see what he comes up with, if it is more than 4200 I am not going to take it, simply because of principal, I can get something for 11,000 dollars that is just as good as the SVT (in my opinion anyway)

Also, remember this is in canadian dollars. Focus's up here from what I have seen not sure about the other saskatoon guy on here, sell for around 6500+ depending on options clicks etc.. Mine is minty, I have taken nothing but amazing care of it.
