SVT bezel?

Does the svt bezel fit in a regular zx3? The a/c knobs and all other switches work in regular focus? and how difficult is it to take out and put in? Thanks alot for the help!!

Yeppers! It's all the same. Maybe just paint you OEM center brezel and get SVT style hvac controls.

Some have had problems getting the knobs themselves off, since they can be on pretty tight, other than that, its a direct swap. CFM sells new HVAC controls.

^^Nope, just pull the black knobs off the front, when you remove the center brezel there are (I think) four screws to do the swap. I did it on my fofo in about 10-15 min total.

^yup, just bust out a flathead screwdriver and pop out the radio bezel, then unscrew the hvac, screw in the svt hvac, pop the bezel back into place, transfer knobs, and voila, youre done.

Or you could just swap the entire thing as a unit. I found a wrecked SVT and simply took the entire center radio surround with cig lighter, ashtray, HVAC controls and all. Removed the four 7mm bolts behind the radio, disconnected the HVAC controls, and then swapped it over into my ZX3. Took around 15-20 minutes, tops.

he has an early model, there is no screwdriver necessary

just pull out the radio with the special tool, available at autozone or any stereo shop for like $3 then unscrew the 4 bolts there and then the whole piece pops out.
