One thing about the '08 / '09 Foci...

They have great sound deadening. I had the displeasure, I mean pleasure of getting to install subs for another FF-er in an '08 this weekend, and other than the stupid sync wiring diagrams from ford, I am impressed at how almost nothing rattled when we cranked some IASCA and db Drag tracks. The only thing to rattle was the license plate mount. The interior piece could be a little bit better reinforced with the metal pieces that slide onto the plastic ends, as the '08 I worked on only had plastic ends and we managed to snap one off.

If only I could say my '03 and '07 were that well when it came to deadening the sound.

BTW, Violet / Green is not the same as Green / Violet for those of you who do anything to the Sync in any '08 or '09

Sound deadening material = more weight. Not a fan of it. I like my cars loud and obnoxious to begin with. ;-)
