they are finally ordering the 09's

well i just went onto fordvehicles.com and you can now customize the 09.
imo the chrome deletes are so much better than that flashy stuff in the 08's

17k for a ses and when i was done it was 19k. thats seems a bit much for me though.

I dunno that I would say that it is a bit much. Compared to other cars of it's class I would stay it stacks up well with features especially coming with Sync. As far as price, the only new cars that are cheaper these days are subcompacts, and really, the focus is just a compact. Some more room while still getting excellent MPG when driven properly.

On a side note I did spend 20k on my ST pretty much loaded back in 07. I did get a special interest rate, and some cash off. But, I never felt like I was spending too much for "just a focus" back then. It all depends on what you are looking for.

I paid $12,500 for a brand spankin' new (an '07 model purchased Dec. '06) SE that was basically loaded.
I've got: Power windows/locks/mirrors, sunroof, tach, fogs, CC, AC, ABS.
I don't have: leather, 6 disc CD changer, SAP, Auto-tragic, 16" wheels.

If I could have gotten the 2.3 in a hatch I would have

The 09 coupes are ill though!

Well i could have taken $3000 in cash off the price with my purchase, I chose the financing however because it was a better deal if I planned on keeping the car down the road, which I do.

I've been selling 2009 Focus's since late july. My company completely ran out of Focus in July so we just switched to 09s.

best deal so far was 12,500 delv stateside on a SE 2008 left over model a few weeks ago. We got a few 08s floating around but everytime they pop up they dissappear real quick.

O BTW most dealerships could order a 09 in APril if they wanted too. We will be ordeirng 2010 mustangs in Marchish

The new Foci are overpriced. I'd much rather pay a little more (or possibly a little less) and get a used BMW coupe or new Rabbit or Golf. An R32 would be nice, but I'm betting that maintenance costs would be astronomical.

I <3 Deutschlandic autos.
