I'm just hearing all these ppl say that fords (Fixed Or Repaired Daily and everyone is telling me that if a bought a civic or a corrola in 4 years i could sell it for almost what i a paid for it and with the ford i would be lucky to get half of what i paid i'm not made of money so this is a concern. But i really did like focus ses i took out

^^^ People are just people, it not necessary to agree with them 100%. Notical Punz are just for amusement because people want to grab your attention, If taken care of an automobile right it will take care of you. You half to remember that most people don't have a car an buy saying that Ford is a Fix Or Repair Daily they probably are jealous that someone else has a car and they don't. Ignoring them is your best attack against it.

As far as cars go with the Focus Vs Other compact small cars, japanese cars has gone a long way for reliability luckly ford still owned shares from mazda so your in good hands there.

I know japanese cars are generally known for their reliability, and I dont know anything about north american fords, but over here in europe, small fords are considered to be very reliable and economic. The focus is basically a European car, it probably the most popular car in britain over the past decade, people always moan about everything but I think with a focus, if you look after it, it will give you many happy years of driving.

I live in canada, i'm really interested in the resale value of a focus in a say 4 years. Cause I know a toyota/honda if u pay 22,000 for one brand new you can get 18 for it in 3 years, where as a ford it seems your lucky to get 11,000 for a 22,000 car 3 years old.
