Question Is this worth it? svtf

Hi, I am new to this site as I have been doing a bunch of searching on the svt focus. I am in the market for one but don't have a ton of dough. I found a 2004 red svtf with 97,xxx miles on it. Clutch replaced at 75k. Asking $6750. It looks like it is in excellent condition. My question is the miles. Is that a lot for a svtf? I figured I'd ask those who know these cars best. Should I be weary of anything? Is there anything in particular I should look for when I go to see the car? Prob in like 2 days. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Adam

a guy is selling his 2002 here in the marketplace forum for 5500

and if the clutch has been replaced at 75, you should be ok. The svtf is renowned for its clutch problems. Looks like he got a lot out of the original (if it was in fact the original) so you can guess from the long life of the clutch that he hast been mean to the car.

miles dont really matter, its how well was the car maintained. i know of a guy on here with 120k+ and has been supercharged for most of it, still running strong. im at 82000, still going good. drive it and make sure the timing belt has been replaced, thats a biggie.

that hig mileage means most of it has been on the freeway. If he's got the service history I'd say it's a good deal. check the brakes, shocks, tires, etc...
