Dealership Problems? Stories?

OK so im at Elmhurst Ford where i bought my Focus and im picking it up after they repaired the seat, im in a great mood im getting it back and its all clean......The porter comes back and says to the service manager, "I cant find the keys" my jaw drops. So an hour later after searching the entire service dept. i decide to take a walk to the car, I FIND MY KEYS IN THE IGNITION WITH THE DOORS LOCKED!!! i was soo mad bc my spare was at home(a 45 minute drive) so they say that they are going to pry open the door to get in a mechanism so they can unlock my doors from the inside(the slim jim was also missing) they dented my pillar! so not only can i not trust the dealership but they are damaging my car. so i go to the manager and tell him that i want my pillar fixed he says that hes going to meet me somewhere in b/w. he offers me AN oil change...i took it as an inult and rebuttled with 2 years of oil changes and we settled at 6 oil changes. i couldnt believe it im gonna start going to lincoln/mercury now bc ford is just ridiculous.

I purchased my 2007 Focus in May of 2007. Within 15 days, I had chunks of tires falling out of the OEM tires. at 33K miles, I'm on my 3rd set of tires. The alignment from day one has been screwed, the original dealer quit doing alignments and basically gave up. Aside from that it's a decent car. Now I'm finally starting to sink some money into the car to upgrade some of the things to match what the rest of my "stable" has. Since it get's good gas milage is the only reason I deal with it anymore. I won't get crap for a trade in so I just purchased the ford ESP, drive it til it dies, or gets totaled. Whichever comes first.

i bought that as well. I had the same problems on my pirelli p6's that came stock on the car. They wore out in 3000 miles so i rotated them and sure enough 3000 miles later the back set were gone so i purchased a new pair of firestones and they do great! the dealership blamed me for them. They said i was too rough on the car. but that is impossible. i never ripped the tires enough in 3000 miles to do that damage.

I had the same problem. I dont remeber what kind of tires they were but i got 10,000 miles out of them b 4 they were totally bald( no burns outs on them either) this was just from driving in cleveland and on the highway! i got the car from john lance in westlake. id rather start driving 45 minuites out to mike bass ford in sheffield Ohio , they have the best service!

I'm not sure what tires come with my car, but sets #2 and #3 have been Kumho tires, They go bald on the outer edge of the tire, but have all their tread on the inner tread. It's really weird. I've complained so many times, It's easier to just pay the $18 for the hazard warranty and keep putting nails in the tire.
