Question Regarding 2009 Coupe SES

Hey All:

While changing the oil on my 01 Focus at the dealer, I got a chance to check out the new Focus. It was an SES Sedan actually.

It run above $20K which to me is pretty pricey for a Focus....fully loaded or not.

Anyway, that's the real reason for the post.

I noticed that in the brochure, there's a Vista Blue SES Coupe that's also decked out with Ford's special exterior pain package. It's not a bad looking package but what I want to know is this....

The picture of THAT Focus in the brochure has what seems to be a nice body kit that fills the car very nicely...and also seems to be slightly dropped. Compared to the RED Focus pictures in other threads here, it looks SO MUCH nicer.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any images on the net of the car in the brochure but other than what they call the "Exterior Paint Kit" options, I'm not sure exactly what it is...

Any ideas? Because it transforms the car from a blob to something half decent.

ALSO:

Anyone drive a stick SES Coupe? If so, anyone care to comment on how they like it?

Cheers!

I didn't know Ford marketed to those who are into S&M.

It does doesn't it???!!!

FOCUS112...

Thanks for those picks...but unfortunately no it's not that one. The marked difference is the rear bumper in the brochure..it completely covers the exhaust all the way out to the tip...and it's got a horizontal line going across it from one side to the other.

It makes the car look so much better. You can see it in the brochure..but unfortunately the online brochure cuts off the side where the exhaust is..but check it out.

wow! look at the difference between the concept coupe's (first link, and the one that was at FF08) front bumper and the production model's!

i love the scallops in the corners that blend the lines into the headlights!

well done ford!

Can anyone identify that body package on the blue vehicle? Or is that just what comes with the Exterior Paint Kit?

And seriously...I'm not imagining it right? That car is dropped...RIGHT?????

The red car in the links above looks like it's on stilts in comparison.
