Englidh version
http://www.ford.co.uk/ie/brochure/-/...r_bro/-/-/-/-#

UK brochure does not show a picture of the base model (Studio) and trim levels have different names plus no Ghia trim in the UK.

It won't sell for those prices in the USA. We have really cheap prices here because our minds are engineered to believe that the lowest price is always the best. Those Fiesta were built in Europe where 5 weeks paid vacation is required by the labor depts of all the govts in the EU, as well as fair wages. In the USA, we don't believe in paying our own workers first, and would rather see their jobs going to 3rd world countries to keep our prices low here.

Their governments control so much of their industries and tax the hell out of them, that it costs 25% more (at least) to make their products. Who ends up paying the difference...not the companies. They pass that down to the consumers. Taxing big corporations does nothing but hurt the consumer. That is inherently true in Europe (and will have a 50/50 shot of happening here in 3 weeks). Yeah workers salaries are higher (government mandated), but half that goes to pay stupid high tax rates.

There's one way to keep the jobs and money in the US. Make is cheaper to buy American made products. Higher Taxes/Tariffs on IMPORTED goods. Jobs will stay here I promise. Our unemployment rate would probably dip below 4%. I'm figuring on slightly more than 3% of the people will NOT work under any circumstances. This is about the only time I support higher taxes. This all brings it to the final conclusion about the price of the Fiesta.

There is no way Americans will pay $25,000 for the Fiesta. Though our system is not perfect by any means, it sure is a lot better than Europe. Our products are cheaper because it doesn't cost as much to make the same product. And yes some of that due to outsourcing (which really bothers me as well). I want to see "Made in America" again. I think companies like Honda, Toyota ect. realize that and just set up shop over here. They don't pay a lot of the same BS things they would back in their country.

I think those pictures on the link were some of the best I've seen so far for it. I would consider buying one. I think the Fiesta in one of the best looking small cars to come out. The lines just look great. I like the headlights and the whole profile. I can't wait for that to come over here. Ford definitely needs to get a car like that in their lineup here asap.
