Can it be true??

So I was house sitting for my uncle. I open one of his mustang mag. and I see this article. Looks like Ford is looking for something new here in 2010. The think it will be easier for them to bring a car from one of the foreign markets and make it meet US specs. Looks to be a turbo charged 5 cylinder rated at 300 hp. I took a pic of the article hope it comes out decent. If this comes out the same time as the new 2010 Mustang hopefully things will look up for Ford.

Hmmm...looks alot like the current Focus RS. I'll sell My legs and one arm for the RS. And the HP fits, as well. *prays out loud for a US RS*

Whether things will look up for Ford depends on how much $$ they want for an RS. Cars in Europe are much more expensive than in US. Ford needs to find a price that's affordable and still profitable in the US.

Just curious, everyone wants a RS, but how much would y'all pay for an RS? $32K? $25K?

yea but you also gotta look at the cost of living over there....it's totally different than here, they dont get the same salaries for the same jobs as here.....not saying that they arent expensive to them, but if you look at it for us they are....and if they bring it over here i would say that ford would probably put it in the 23-25K range, the same as the MS3

Expect the US emissions standards and every other test and rule we have on cars to ruin it. I look for big ugly plastic side moldings and 150hp by the time they're done with it.

The exchange rates make the cars seems expensive but if it were sold in the US martket it would be mor affordable....i think 25k for it to be successfull. If it were to come to the US it would probably a year after the UK focus came to the US, probably 2011. We can only hope

If Ford brought this over, I'd be one of the first to buy one. This car is sick and would definitely sell and be very fun to drive.

FORD PLEASE!!!! 2010 is just in time for a new car, come on look at what I own, and '03 and '07, and I've had Lightnings, F150's, and stangs in the past, FORD bring this over PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I would assume that Ford would be trying to compete with the other companies with small cars that are supercharged and turbocharged. If thats the case this will deff. compete with the Srt4s and Cobalts
