Another Do not go to Walmart story

I was being lazy today and decided to take my car to Walmart for a tire rotation. I usually do that stuff myself, but I just didn't feel like it today. I took my car in and waited. My name was announced over the speaker system and I went to pick up my car. When I went to the counter, I was told that one of my front lug nuts was stripped. I had just done my front brakes not too long ago so I told them that they had to have done it because I torque my lugs with torque wrench and they were not stripped when I put my front wheels on. The, "tech" called for his manager who said they could have no way done it. I proceeded to tell him the same thing I told the tech. The manager said really loudly to the tech that we would replace it, but that they needed to check all lug nuts before doing anything from now on. I responded to him that that would be a good thing.

On his way back to the shop, the, "tech" tells his manager that the rear wheel is rusted on and he can not pull it off. The manager looks at me and with a I win attitude, says that my wheels is rusted on. He says this really loudly so that everyone in the area can hear. I walk to the service area and pull off my own dang wheel! I told the tech that this stuff happens and he just has to pull hard! He proceeds to tell me that he did not want to break anything. I walk back to the waiting room and watch the, "tech." Another, "tech" later came out and told his manager that one of the employees was messing up again. The manager said to have some one else help him. I know they were talking about the guy servicing my car because I later saw someone one else helping him. All in all, it only cost me $6.45 for the rotation, but I was there about an hour and twenty minutes and the aggravation of being accused of trying to cheat them out of a lug nut!

Anyway, this is not THAT bad, but if they are like this for tire rotations, I wonder what could happen if that guy did an oil change!

LOL!!! Looks like they hire anyone nowadays. You shouldnt be considered anythign if you cant pulla damn wheel off, lol, they are suppose to be wheel and tire specialists and cant do a simple job like that. Ohh and you know what i found is a good way to get a rusted on wheel off is? I put on two of my lug nuts, loosely then drive the car a little ways in my driveway, always works, will wiggle free.

cool, now if I could go work at walmart! I'd be the best guy there and I've only balanced the tires on one car....plus rotation

Because the incompetent auto makers have made their drain plugs too easy to strip, the Industry Leaders(TM) at Wal*Mart have been forced to vacuuming your oil out of your dipstick. Now when you get four quarts of oil, you get a "spare" quart of dirty oil.

They probably wonder what the junk is an ASE course, and probably make some random story on how he was hand selected to make things wrong.
