Drill Drill Drill!!!!

That's what the huge like 2x2 foot "bumper sticker" on the back of a chevy avalanche I was behind today said, along with a picture of an old school oil tower and underneath it McCain/Palin '08 & '12. I starred at it, in pure amazement, thinking to myself how selfish and ignorant the owner must be. This anger only got worse when he speed off when the light turned green, weaving in and out of traffic with no turn signal on a busy 30mph two lane road. That guy got labeled as a dusche bag. The fact that he drives a ridiculously big suv for no apparent business reason just shouts that he doesn't care about the drilling as long as it lowers the price of gas so he can continue driving his guzzler like a moron around town.

Just really pissed me off.....anyone else have a similar story?

lol I saw a customized license plate once on a escalade that standed for "Just for shoppin" I forgot which letters they had on the license plate, but I got a good laugh at how obnoxious it was.

And 25mpg in a lifted jeep, I want to know how you drive it...

Apparently you haven't seen the MSRP sticker on a new mustang. $1,300 "gas guzzler" tax. They don't put that money towards alternative energy or building refineries, they just toss it into our bloated budget.

The answer is not more taxes, that's not going to fix anything.

We have plenty of oil, we just need congress to stop being such socialist control freaks so we can go get it.

That guy driving the chevy avalanche is a douche not because he wants us to be allowed to drill, but because of the way he drives.

I try to get along with people on here, but it pisses me off when I hear people say that more taxes or fees are the answer to the oil problem.

I've watched the price of gas drop to $3.55 just because we were TALKING about drilling. Imagine if we actually did it.

OPEC plays a major role in determining the price of a barrel of oil by increasing or decreasing oil production. They know that if we drill for oil here, they won't get as much money for the oil they produce, so right now they produce more, thus lowering the price, so we won't push as hard for drilling at home.

anybody can write Gas guzzler tax on any car/truck/suv. so they should write a gas guzzler tax on flex fuel autos too? b/c the e-85 is worse than regular gas when it comes to MPG.
