I need some help with my rim...

I had rims on my car. When I got in an accident, my rim managed to get bent. Anyways, I have taken to a few rim specialists and they look at the rim and they tell me that they can't fix it. I know that it can be done becuse my frinds rim was bent even worse than this one and someone fixed it for him.

I was just going to buy another rim to replace it, but they just discontinued this rim. ugh...Chrome Xpressions irriatates me.

My question is, does anyone have any ideas on how I could rebend the rim? The lip of the rim is fine. It's the rim itself that is slightly bent.

I'd hate to sell these rims I just bought at a loss becuase one of them is bent so any help would be very much appreciated!

First, I'm going to assume you are talking about an aftermarket aluminum alloy WHEEL (it's not a RIM - the RIM is just the outer part)

Alloy wheels can be repaired, depending on the type of damage. Don't assume that just because your buddy's wheel looked worse than yours and was repaired, that you could get the same outcome. Did you take your wheel to the place where he got his repaired?

I would go with the experts on this. It's not worth risking your safety. If they say it can't be repaired, believe them.

I took it to the same place where my friend got his done at.

They didnt' want to work on it becuase they were afraid that the chrome would crack...that was their escuse. So the rim is safe to ride on structurally, it's just bent and it won't balance.
