spark plug, wires and coilpack

whats the real and big deal with this i just know its so important for a car, but i just dont understand why if your wiring is wrong it affect your engine, why it has to be where each one has to be???

1 - 1
2 - 2
3 - 3
4 - 4

why not

1 - 2
2 - 4
3 - 1
4 - 3

or whatever , why i just get this doubt on my head when my engine was jumping moving itself.

mmm i dont know if you understand but, if you got it . anyone to explain

are u talking about firing order?? if so, then it is extremely important. You don't want ur engine fireing when the piston is at teh bottom of the cylinder, or you don't want it to fire on the wrong stroke or ur engine will not make power or it will go boom!! Not really sure if thats what u meant though

If I understand your question, mlb nailed it. Firing order is very important. Get it wrong and you go boom.

Your fuel may be getting too rich? That is if its kinda backfiring.

If you have ur firing order wrong, you would know. One, ur engine would shake voliently and run like complete garbage. Two, with that order, hell i dont even know if itd start and run. Three, go back to regular firing order before you destory your car.
