motor sound terrible!!!

guys i dont know whats going on with my car but when i drive from 1st shift and 2nd shift and sometime on 3rd shift i hear a sound like an old motorcycle you know like a diesel engine its a sound like a cranking sound , it comes when im under 2500 revs, is something i can do to my car i just don liek how it sounds.

help me pls thanks

also, i dont know why but when i make a stop on a red light then after 1st shift my car feels like too heavy, like not enough power to go, i mean i feel like it has not the right power, the right speed.

You probably burned your ignition coil, I have done that on a Escort before; my god did it sound like a geo metro.

ignition coil ???? wtf is that lol joke, mmm honestly what it is??? it is the part where the spark plug wires goes connected???? also if its burned why my car still working????

It should have a "Limp Mode" which means you won't crap out on a random road, and get to your house safely. Ever since computer controlled vehicles were equipped with a computer, you won't get stuck nowhere.....

Further more it is only a guess, I didn't say you did.... It is a "Probably" and was only a thought.
