'09 Focus

I stopped by my local Ford dealer yesterday, and noticed they had a whole lineup of the '09 Focus. There were several, including SES sedans, and not one had the fake chrome scoop on the side. I guess for once Ford listened to the customers and got rid of it, saving money in the process.

Yep, saw the same thing here. No more cheezy side vents.

You can do that too, but I think for this we can actually give credit where credit is due - to ourselves! I'll bet we played a BIG part in that decision.

If Ford actually listened to us, we'd still have a hatch. And an ST. And an RS. And an 80mpg turbo diesel Fiesta =P

I'm not a big fan of the front ends on the new 08-09 focus's.. but I think a hatchback version might have made me feel better about it...

I just found the '09 order guide online. There is now a model above the SES, the SEL, and that one comes standard with the "Chrome Fender Vents" in "Fordspeak".

I have also went to ford's website, and I am kinda puzzled why they didn't post the coupe version. Are they waiting a while before they release the coupe?
