I'm just gonna start off by saying I know that I paid 2x as much for mine than I should have. But I wanted to get a car to rebuild my credit and it was the only place that could do it, buuuuut it did come with a 2 year warranty, which has come in handy a few times already.

2002 ZX5, I paid 7500 for it, 95k miles, and I'm 24.

I hope you didn't buy from one of those "bad/no credit, no problem" lots (which I assume you might have based on the cost of the car + bad credit). A lot of people buy from there thinking they can rebuild their credit, but then fail to notice that since you're paying directly to the dealership, they have no obligation (or need) to report to the credit reporting agencies. You're not rebuilding your credit at all, in that case.

As long as you've verified that the finance is on your credit history, then you should be good.

Yeah I actually worked for them when I bought the car so I know that they're reporting it.

I recently bought my first focus. I'm 40 (can't believe I'm that old!) and I bought a 2014 black titanium hatchback with the 18" wheels & handling package, moonroof, and nav. I paid $25,058 OTD.

Any thoughts for the first few mods? I still need to get tint, but not sure what to start with after that. I don't want to do too much, so no turbo, etc. :-)

2001 ZX3 Zetec with 144K. Paid $500. New rubbers, steeda short throw shifter, Borla 2.5" stainless cat back w/no cat, header, programmable ECM, projector halo headlights, SVT suspension swap (1.5" drop from OEM), carbon fiber dash kit, Kenwood audio.

Most parts from www.c-f-m.com Great company for Focus parts.

I'm 35, but drive like I'm 25. We're only as old as we feel.
