STI hands down. They were one of the first to incorporate AWD 4 cyl turbo and they have the racing expcerience to prove it. Plus, it stands out, its got a deep and throaty tone, and itll smoke my dads mustang :-)

mitsubishi had an awd turbo sedan in the 80s. anyone remember the galant vr4??? if i recall correctly, subaru didnt have an awd turbo sedan until the legacy was introduced a couple years later.

of course, both companies may have had similar cars earlier but i cant really think of any right now.

I have always loved the STi, but I have driven both, and the EVO handled way better (plus it has a moonroof option.) The STi does have an advantage over the EVO from stoplight to stoplight. It's a hard decision. Both cars are f$%king great!!!!
