SVT & Ford in 2010??

Had some free time today and needed to escape the Georgia Heat, came across this.

http://www.motortrend.com/features/a..._gt/index.html

Dunno if its a repost, but it seems very appealing to me.

Also, having a 415hp turbo chargered V6 in the stang looks interesting.

It says that project is on hold.

The Ecoboost Focus GT seems interesting. I'm still drooling for a Fiesta with an Ecoboost engine.

They are going to have to sell smaller cars that people like and they can make money on. That means cool smaller cars with good options, but not cheap.

Sound nice. Also, I was wondering what the ecoboost was.

Ecoboost is the term for the new engine that Ford started using in its 4cyl and 6cyl lines. Started with the Lincoln version of the Edge and will move down into more lines in 2009 and 2010. It is as total a change in engine as the Zetec to Duratec change was. Only, this time, they are supposed to have small turbos to make up the power differences. I think Ford Europe is starting to run things now.
