I just got my focus and i have a few questions

i just got my 2000 zx3 its the kona edition.

i want to make it a good street racing car. It handles great already but it needs more power, ive already got a cold air kit on it, what else would increase power that is relatively cheap?

on my focus when i take tight turns the rear end has a lot of body roll. would new sway bars fix that problem. i want it to be a rigid ride

Yes, sway bar and springs and dampers. I am assuming it doesn't have aftermarket springs already.

Get a pulley kit, Cam gear, header and get it tuned. Throttle body for better responce, but there isn't much you can do without some motorwork or FI.

I have everything done N/A, I don't regret it, but I am only making 164 whp, and I could have got a turbo kit installed and tuned making 200+ whp for way less than what I have into it. go FI save up for it!! you wont regret it!!!

Please don't street race (especially in a rare edition). Take it to a sanctioned race track.

If it's a 2000 it probably needs new shocks and struts anyway.

Buy an SVT focus suspension kit for $260.00. It includes a fatter rear sway and will drop your ride about .5 to 1 inch.

Oh, and don't street race.

Ever.

Kona editions are sweet. I love the color.

Basic bolt ons (header, exhaust) are all fun to do and make the car more fun but unless you have a ton of cash and a lot of knowledge or patience and time to learn, then I'd say just stick with the bolt ons and have fun with a sweet dookie brown fofo.

^^^Yeah. No street racing, people end up dead, or worse. Anyway JRSC(Jackson Racing Super Charger) is IMHO quite possibly the most effective relatively cheap performance upgrade I can think of to do. Oh, and Yeah, get that SVT shock setup, It's well worth the $260.00, assuming You have the tools and space and time to DIY
