Question Any performance mods out for the 08's?

Girlfriend just picked up an 08 Focus
Car is pretty loaded with options, comfy and drives much better then her 04 ZX3. Problem is her ZX3 had the 2.3L DOHC and the 08 has the smaller 2.0L DOHC engine - and we can feel the loss in hp & tq.

Just wondering what performance wise is out there & what works for the new cars?

If I'm not mistaken, focussport is working on a turbo kit for the '08s, and there is some sort of a nitrous kit out there as a few 08s have n2o on them.

Turbo Kit for FS should be easy. I know they already put at least one of them on their Street Tuner Challenge car. If you want to go that much i would wait for that. Other than that there is a Short Ram Intake from Steeda (www.SteedaFocus.com). I just put one on my car and i love it.

Talking

hahaha - no turbo or SC for her daily driver, but I like your thinking!

Was thinking about a o/r pipe, some sort of proven cold air set up, maybe some pulley combos, would love a tune but the $'s per gains ratio probably doens't equate.

Any one know if the 03/04 SVT suspension stuff will swap over to the new cars?
That new car ride height is WAY too high!
What about rim sizes?
Kind of a big car and figure 17',18' or maybe even bigger would help the overall look. Some pictures would be cool....

No svt stuff wont work. Ford racing I believe has stuff out for the 08's, talk to Mike,(b16sir1991) he'll hook you up with the suspension parts you need, I know someone else with an 08 was hooked up by him.

Focus sport has an exhaust out for it and a few other parts. Steeda has a intake for the 2008 also.
