Unhappy OT Gas prices

I heard on the radio today that if you pay with a credit card you pay more for gas. Dont know if this is old news, but i'm glad i found out. Except for cash is a pain.

I've seen a couple gas stations in my area advertising a "cash" price and a "credit card" price.

Well that's ridiculous, because unless a person is really good at figuring out how much gas they're gonna need you're either getting not a full tank of gas cause you estimated badly or you pay with a credit card, get a full tank but you paid more. and its the inconvenience of waiting in the line inside.
They should have it to where you can put dollar bills in the gas thing, that'd be really efficient! NIIICE

Yea, wouldnt suprise me. With the credit melt down and the economy in the dumps, a lot of people are skipping out on credit card payments, so i guess thats the gas company's way of trying to recoup that. One thing that we noticed too, not sure if its just here or all over, but my buddy with a Ram paid with a credit card, and they stopped his machine at 50 bucks (takes like 80 to fill).

I donno why gas pumps shut off..does anyone? maybe they're preserving the gas..but that doesn't make any sense because they dont care who gets gas as long as people buy it.
