I dont either, even though i own a ZTS, I think its just a package ford came out with, mine has the standard zetec dohc engine, the mtx75 transmission, it may be the fancy interior version or something like a lariat or eddie bauer. Mine has leather seats, came with a 6 disk cd player, electronic mirrors and windows, but im not really sure.

I dont have the traction control either, it does make a good excuse for a lsd, even though i have never had any use for it...maybe when i get better hp numbers

The traction control def. does not help in quick starts and is NO substitute for an lsd lol. It actuates the braking system to stop a spinning wheel which really slows the car down. It sucks when you really want to get on it in a start. Luckily you can turn it off. I really like it though in bad weather like snow though. It will help get ya going better and keeps your tires from toasting themselves.

i didnt know it activated any braking system..my dad has a ZX5 and just for curiosity i took it out one day, push the TC button so it was on (otherwise it activates automatically if a wheel goes to spin) and it slightly chirped the tires...so iono about any braking system lol, took off like a rocket, well compared to my fofo's 1 wheel squeal. not to mention that car has yet to get stuck in the snow, can't say the same for mine.

If you press the button it actually turns the system totally off. If the little dash light with the slipping tire is on, then it means the system is off. Go out and try again and you will know what I mean.

haha yeah i was refrencing the hp numbers to the lsd not the traction control, Ive always wondered if the lsd would help when driving on mountain roads, I do that quite often, i never have a problem with traction but i was wondering if it helps with cornering?

Oh I would imagine so. It will bias power to the wheel with more grip not the one will less grip hence making turn in and powering outta a corner much better and faster.
