ive never changed at 3 ive always done it 4500-5000 but then i work in the oil business and drove trucks i know oils run longer then that.you can go 3000change filter add oil back,go 3000,then change it.

I have always changed my oil at intervals based on whats written in that little book in the glove box that aparently no one ever reads....

Aggressive cams + raised compression + 5000 mile old synthetic blend oil + WOT 10-15 times a day = need for new internals.

I will stick with 3000. Note the phrase "depending on driving conditions". I didnt build my engine to drive like im in a Geo Metro.

But if you use synthetic and drive normally, go for 5000 or more.

ive always changed the focus at 5k, but this time its getting stretched out to about 6500
