Ford's automotive engineering and design divisions have been lost in the dark for quite some time now....
whats up with the whole "box on wheels" truck design?
whats up with the "no hatchback" design move? those other things are called wagons... wait do they still make a focus wagon or is that guy out too?
whats up with the lack of cross brand technology sharing? umm mazda, volvo, they got some cool stuff over in those tents...
why dont they bring over some UK or AUS designs?
whatever man, I'm going foreign when this one shites the bed, unless one of the other domestic brands comes out with something sub-3,000lbs with some performance and economy...

Yeah the Focus wagon is gone too. Out of all the car manufacturers in the US, Ford will the last one I buy a car from again.

yeah ford is really depressing now, i dont like any of the cars they are making now, other then the stang, and the f series i wouldnt buy anything from them, but they got about 4-5 years til im ready for a new car so they better come up with something good by then, otherwise im out, dodge and chevy have very nice car line-ups as well as honda and toyota

The thing that adds so much confidence in my minds is how ford is now suing Ford Customers for using pics of "their" product. I think Ford will be dead in 10 yrs.

i wont say dead, but here in north america they are disapointing to a lot of people,i can say as a 1st time ford car buyer,i dont think i will continue on in the ford family.i love my lil focus, but i know its not gonna last forever,im 120,000 miles plus and shes been good to me.i dont think kickin the hatch out and putting in a coupe was a really good ideal.and ive just not been pleased or excited about anything there introducing here,or predicting.

Check out both http://www.autoblog.com & http://www.jalopnik.com , both say Ford announced at the Detroit Auto Show the Fiesta/Verve for the U.S. in 2010. This car looks great, and should perfom great with the new direct injection motors and a six speed. I don't know if it will get the turbo as well. Will it be enough in time?
