Thats a slick ride.

The only downsides I see are the lack of storage space and the sticker price (personally I'd go w/ the Evo for that price range).

Look into the tire scare. I would buy a set of RT615's for track duty only, and use the stock ones otherwise.

You will miss having torque. And space.

It is not the car for me, in fact it is everything I DONT want in a car, so im just gonna give you negatives...

Seems like it's a better "second car" than daily driver. Especially if you have to carry anything larger than a tic tac. You do live in a convertible friendly area tho, so thats a plus. In the end its your dough, dontcha know.

besthaticouldo, if you like that S2000, go ahead and buy it, because its what makes you happy. if others dont like it, at least they dont have to buy that car. :-)

I remember reading something about tires other than the stock ones blowing up or melting or causing a TERRIBLE ride quality or something... It doesnt make sense now and it didnt make sense when i read it, but nonetheless people were having problems.

I need a car that holds A LOT of stuff while still getting good mpg's and that I can also happily mod and take to autox and perform decently well. Enter Ford Focus wagon
