05 gto 6.0l or 03/04 mustang GT

so im pretty for sure selling turtle and getting a new car. i have way to many problems with this car for it to be worth it anymore. so i wanna get something new.

my two options are 05 GTO with the 6.0l or 03/04 mustang GT with the 4.6l.

price is a factor. but so is quality and build of the car. i need something that will last me 5 years. i will very rarely mod this thing.

im leaning GTO because it is a wayyyyyyyy nicer car IMO. the interior is amazing and i drive quite a bit. so i would rather have that. i would even settle for the 5.7. but imma try for the 6.0.

what are your thoughts?

i love mustangs, but the GTO is better in this comparison. The mustang platform from those years is SOOO DATED, a heavily modified 1979 platform. The mustang by far has better after market parts. The GTO is better all the way around a better car IMO.

If you want better quality, I would go with the Mustang. But as far a performance the GTO will out run the 03/04 Stang all around. And you do not see alot of GTO's running around. So if the price is pretty close I would say go with the GTO. And this is also coming from a die hard Ford guy. Just dont buy any rice.....LOL

You know my vote.......don't feel like searching and I'm not up to date on price ranges, but if the mustang can be had for less than your willing spend on a 6.0 GTO, you can use the purchase money you saved to make the mustang outperform the GTO, most likely. Also, with all the effort you put into your green car, you're used to working on Fords now!

I have a friend with the 6.0 and it is VERY nice and VERY powerful, I've never been thrown back into a seat like that. only thing he complains about is having little to no trunk space but thats about it. I'd say go for it, besides you don't see too many of them around, as compared to a dime-a-dozen mustang

How about one of BIG reasons the GTO flopped.............LOOKS!
I'm all for performance, but just remember you would have to look at the GTO each time you drove it. Granted it's a personal taste kinda thing, but
"OH HELL NO".................LOL
