Will the Camaro steal Mustang Sales???

Well, that 400hp engine, and sleek modern/retro twist of an exterior might seem great, but if the interior looks like this....then the only sales it might be stealing is from used Pontiac Grand Ams, cause thats what it looks like. Certainly won't steal me away from the mustang if I decide to skip refinment and european handeling for good old american muscle from one of the big three.

Probably not, Chevrolet already made a mistake in dropping the camaro in 2002 and I doubt that most people would buy it now. Most people would want to get there hands on a dodge challenger (excluding me) instead.

might slow a little bit upon the release but the mustang will still out sell it, and from what i heard the new camaro will be priced way about the mustang.

I like the new camero. Its faster, nice look, and more than likely more reliable but I also like the challenger and the mustang.

Performance oriented people might go to either of the two. But the V6 mustang is mas made the new gen such a success and create sales volume. I don't think the Challenger is going to be offered in a V6 form from what I know (correct me if I'm wrong).

But, the Mustang in going to receive a face lift, and rather mild from the spy photos. The retro phase is not going to last forever and all three are heavily retro styled. Time will tell, but the Mustang will have the best sales volume because of the number of models they offer.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter what comes out. as much as I like the camero there will never be a car that out sells the mustang in that class. The mustang is Amaricas pony car(muscle car class). Just like the face of american sports cars is the corvette. Those types of cars just won't be out sold in there classes

well im no mustang fan,but to me a v6 stang is just as insulting when they did the 4 bangers, but the camaro will probably be so pricey it wont sell in quantity ,unless they make a bunch of el cheapo down graded cookie cutter models (which im sure they wont) as ford has done repeatedly with the mustang, but i will give um credit for keeping it in the sporty 2dr coupe .as far as mopar, yeah it would be great to see a challanger,,i just hope they dont do like they did with the charger,,that was a 4door disapointment.but chevy did the same with the 80's nova the frikin impala and the malibu sedans.so many classic muscle cars or sporty cars of the past became the family sedans of today,,i hate it.

Once the gotta have group buy up, sales will drop off. Heavy price tag will be a reach. Ford has a healthy Stang following and aftermarket. It's nice to see the cars again.
