My zx3 TO DO list -Maybe you guys can give me ideas

I'm finally getting rid all my clunking noises and blown dampers..This is a list of things that i need to do/replace this January, and a couple of things i would like to do shortly thereafter.
I made the list with some brands that I am pretty set on, but the ones that don't have specifics is because i'm still thinking, and those are probably the things i need the most help on.
Please tell me what you think- If I should get anything additional or whatever.
Thanks guys...

Things I need to do:
-dampers (H&R Sport Cup Kit) Installed
-springs (H&R Sport Cup Kit) Installed
-motor mounts (CFM)
-water pump (stock replacement)*
-timing belt (stock replacement)*
-front swaybar endlinks (Moog- rockauto) Installed
-accessories belt (stock replacement)*
-rear camber bolts (Steeda-CFM)*
-front camber plates (Steeda-CFM) Installed
-header gasket (copper embossed)*
-valve cover gasket (Hilbish Ford) Installed
-intermittent wiper switch (Hilbish Ford) Installed
-replace rear bumper (ST170)
-remote key fob (eBay)
-repair rear bumper leak (?) -leaks a bit of water during hard rain since car accident

* Things I already bought

Things I want to do eventually:
-rear swaybar (Steeda 28.6)
-front swaybar (H&R)
-full bushings kit

front sway endlinks - MOOG from rockauto.com

front camber plates - LCR race plates, I think you would want race plates since your getting bigass swaybars and race motor mounts.

rear camber bolts - shop around, they can be had for 25-30 shipped.

In my opinion, this will most certainly NOT be a daily driveable car...

Sell it, and buy a newer model.

The amount of money you're planning on putting into it is more than the car is worth.

All that work and you are going for sportlines on AGX's? Weak weak springs on budget adjustables? For the money you will be dropping you really need to do one of two things. Either get some proper koni yellows and a real spring like the intrax linears (supersport) or get some coilovers.

Front swaybar endlinks - MOOG with the grease fittings x2.

Front camber plates - if you actually do need them - CFM sells a cheap setup, or go with the LCR which is highly overkill unless you acually plan to use the -2 degrees from the race version.

Are you sure about the motor mounts? Unless you are trying to strap down some serious torque, the stock mounts are more than fine and much much more comfortable for a DD. You should absolutely get the lower tranny mount but the 2 uppers don't belong in a DD that isn't seeing a lot of power. It just adds too much vibes without doing anything good. 99% of the torque is opposed by the dogbone.

If you do a new oil pump and water pump you will need to basically disassemble the entire front end of the motor. I'm not sure that can be done with the motor in the car. Why are you replacing the oil pump in particular, its a simple gear driven pump, and unless it's failing you or you're taking it off anyways there's no need to go replacing it. Thats going to be a bitch to do all that work with the engine in place.

With any timing belt you should do a new tensioner and idler pulley.

The water pump can be done with the engine in the car...its a bit tight but its right down at the bottom of the engine bay. Agreed on the oil pump...if I'm not mistaken it pulls its power directly from the crank, you pretty much have to remove the engine to replace it. I'd leave it alone unless you're wanting to replace it with a unit that can spin up past 7400 RPMs...but then you're talking about a completely balanced rotating assembly, lots of work...

Coilovers should only be a consideration if adjustable ride height is important to you...otherwise you can get nearly equal handling for much less. Especially since the rears are the same as any other suspension setup. I'd suggest ditching the AGXs in favor of a set of Spax TA 14-position adjustables, and agreed...you might want a stiffer spring. As far as the swaybar endlinks are concerned...I'm happy with the $15/each OEM ones. If I was off-roading my car or had some insanely thick front swaybar I could see getting heavy-duty replacements, but the stockers work just fine IMO.

Oh...and you most likely don't need a new header gasket unless you know the current one is leaking. I recall Tom (Focus-Power) saying that the stock header gasket on his project SVT had been reused some 20 or 30 times without a problem.

agreed, also if you have a lot of miles like in the 3 digits its not really worth it either.

i've considered that. but if i did that, i'd have a car payment and a stock car. i do have over 100k miles, but the car is in pretty great condition and i bought it for $2000- so i can afford to do some cool stuff to it. My plans eventually are to rebuild the engine with forged internals for boost.

right now i have intrax linears that were installed by the previous owner on stock dampers that are waay blown out. i think my springs are pretty worn. i know koni yellows are the best, but i thought sportlines were good and agx's have a lifetime warranty and can be replaced quickly if they go. please correct me if i am wrong- that's what the thread is for

i agree-overkill, and expensive. i do need to get rid of my neg camber that's eating my tires.

you probably have a point. i think i can get away with just the tranny mount for a while

the oil pump is something i can leave for the rebuild, if necessary. maybe it's not even necessary at all.
water pump is something i've always known people to do when the do timing belt/idler/tensioner..
header gasket is leaking like crazy.
