makes no sense

So I love my 08 but I just don't understand why they opt'd not to have a truck release inside the car seems kinda stupid. I understand that there is a button on the remote but still. I thought I was missing it and called my dealer only have them have to go and actually look at one to call me back and say nope your right there isn't one weird.

I guess they were too excited to put sync in it they forgot lol.

Wow, thats lame. you sure its not hiding some where. Some cars have alittle button in the glove box, and idk if there still is that little cd compartment under the steering wheel closest to the door, but it might be in there too. Also does the one on the remote even work all the time. Like I know if you have the key in the ignition in my car, i cannot use the remote to unlock the doors, so I dont know if it works the same way with the trunk release. Cause somehow they gave me a car without a trunk release button...when i have a freakin hatch. Now does that make sense?

My Buick is the same way. Its kinda annoying having to fumble with the fob when the key is in the ignition just to pop the trunk.

Isn't it amazing how the littlest things can make such a difference. I use my hatch release all the time. I think that would get to me.

I've never had a car with remote locks or truck release so it drives me crazy cause I forget about the remote sometimes and go to open it where my old car had the release. Seems like such a basic thing I'm sure it would only cost like $2.00 to put on in since there is a cable for the emergency release inside the truck.

Yeah it's for sure not there. I check a million times I checked the manual, I had my boyfriend check and then today called the dealership and they didn't even realise there wasn't one in the car lol.

I probably would have tried that but mine doesn't have sync lol. I thought I was loosing it cause I mean really what car now doesn't have a truck release in the car. Oh wait I know mine :P

I figured my bf's 03 has one that it would probably be somewhere close to the same location but nope oh well. I'll just have to hope I press the trunk and not the alarm button in the dark
