The Car:

2004 ZX3 Comfort $14495
Liquid Grey / Charcoal N/C
5 Speed Manual N/C
16" Wheels w/ Pirelli P6 4S $130
Special Discount (Regional) -$150
Destination $545
MSRP $15,020

Best Deal $13,858.00
Rebate -$2,500
Final Price $11,358.00 + Tax & Title

Good, Bad, or Indifferent Deal?

Sounds like a good deal to me... but any deal on a FOcus is a good one! Did I read correctly, as I understand it you MADE $4000 on a resale of your BMW? If so, that's awesome!! Welcome to FF Gene.

Yes I bought a used 1997 E36 M3 4dr for $13,000 about a month ago because I was tired of driving a 1995 Buick LeSabre Limited (Handling only your Grandmother could love) as a daily driver. What I failed to take into consideration was the car was so well cared for I could not stand to subject it to the bumps and bruises of the daily grind so I was back to driving the Buick most of the time. A friend offered me $17,000 for it so I took it. I need a good reliable, daily driver that is fun to drive. I usually keep a Vette for a weekend car. Thanks for the welcome.

I dont finance depreciating assets so interest rate is unimportant.

Seems like a decent deal.
BTW, if his financial act was together, he would probably have the smarts to know whether or not he was getting a good deal.

Indeed, unless you are on a budget and can invest the money you would save short-term in something like real-estate upgrades!

Ya that's a standard deal on a Focus, dunno why they are charging you for stock tires though, mine came with the P6's and I was not charged for tires.
