Alright another one.... gto vs the hemi charger/300c

Ok i am in love with the GTO but i was looking around and i actually like some of the hemi powered cars....

the gto-

the charger R/T-

the 300C-

Now the gto has 400 horsepower and beats these other cars in a straight line.... but it seems like the charger & the 300C would be more comfortable and fun to drive.... and i really like the fact that they have a fuel management system that shuts down 4 cyl at light throttle...

so what do you guys think about these cars?

gto has 400 horse & 400 torque
charger & 300 have 340 horsepower and 390 torque

I would get the charger SRT8 but thats an extra 5K and i cant stretch that far...

i would honestly say hold off and go with the srt-8. the mods r there if u want and the fuel management is great.
if u put a few hundred bucks u can open that hemi up to be a monster if u wanted.
but if u choose ride quality i would go with the 300c
but the srt is a much more fun vehicle.
i have driven all three on a road coarse and i would go srt all the way

Hard Choice
Toss up between the Charger SRT-8 and the gto...
I might go with the GTO

Considering the number of people I know that have had 300Cs and Chargers, I'd go with the GTO. Chrysler interiors are still shoddy at best.

yeah good luck getting spare parts for the GTO... I had a friend in college that had a GTO (after toasting his Subaru in a rally) he got it because it was fast and he wouldnt rally it, well when he broke *something* im not sure what it was, he had a hell of a time trying to get spare parts, and ended up getting rid of the car. I don't know what the spare parts situation is like now but I'd at least check into it before i picked one up. Also my vote goes to the Charger, it may not have the same power, but i think it will be fun to drive, if you could swing the srt-8 that would be nice, but if you cant, thats still where my vote falls, so why not a new mustang? I'm not a fan myself, but I don't really like the competition either.

just wait till you can afford the srt-8, my dad's got one and even driving in traffic he averages 19mpg and thats with 425hp it is well worth the extra money from the regular hemi but i have not gotten to drive one of the 400hp GTO's but sid03svt brought up a good point the GTO is a limited edition car and parts are hard to come by kind of like the SSR, 1 more vote for the srt-8 butget what you like to drive the best

I guess I'm the only one who sees the SRT8 Charger as a bad value? 36k base and a 25k Mustang is just as quick and probably a lot more fun to drive. I don't get the appeal. Also, I average between 19-21mpg in my Stang depending on my driving. None of my daily driving involves freeways either. Lots of stop and go.
