K need help with a bill of sale

I'm selling my 01 Sonata which is currently unable to be driven (timing belt and the reason I now have a focus :) ). So I have someone that wants to buy it I need to know does anyone have a template or a bill of sale that I could use for a car that does not run pretty much saying that the car is as is where is (would like it to sound abit more legal then that lol).

So fingers crossed it will be sold on Thursday and I'll have some extra cash for xmas.
Thanks in advance.

Best is to go to where vehicles are licenced and ask for a blank bill of sale. some states require a notary publics seal on it.
never just sign the title over. if they dont switch the title to their name and something happens, you have no proof you sold it to them without a bill of sale. I always have them notorised when signing, that way it shows there was a witness to the signing and the other person can't come back saying they never signed it

Don't pay for a BOS, just get this one based on the Oregon DMV form and write in the "as is" stuff:

It's big, so save it to your computer and print it using the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer wizard or some other program that will fit it to the page.

You can usually just go to the county court house and get it transfered out of your name and into theirs at the time of sale... which is the BEST way to do it.

Don't you usually just say AS IS?
And that's good enough?

Thanks guys. This whole timing belt thing is the problem as you really don't know what else is wrong with the motor till it's taken apart so I don't want the person to come back a month later to say that I sold them a car with any other problems then what I already told them about. the guy is now on the fence about buying the car so I may not need it after all

yeah you list "Sold AS IS" on the bill of sale and then it's up to the buyer, if they buy it AS IS then thats it, its up to him to do with it what he wants but there is no intended warrenty or promise of quality
