I think I might have started a war!

I thought it would be a good idea to post about the death of my old car at the old forumns I was registered in. I talked about the death of my car and did a comparison of my od car to my new car. I mean well but I think I'm about to get my e-butt handed to me. My old car was a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES V6.
Here's the thread

Yo infra I wouldn't worry about those idiots. Some guy wants to knock a ford then let's see him go against a Cobra. That would be the end of that conversation. Second, You ask tons of people about their ford and you know what? The quality is better and it lasts longer. Yah some have bad experiences but almost every car in the world has the same thing. Just seems to be Ford takes all the bashings for recalls. At least they care enough to warn people about somethings that are as a small as a lose dead pedal while other manufacturers like Honda and Mitsu hide in the corner and let their customers pay for the work later on. I have nothing but Ford's in my family each have gone over 110,000 miles without any major work except your basic oil changes and check up stuff. Another thing that pisses me off is that the board just makes fun of you for getting a new car. I hope you noticed that most the people at this board actually give you real incites to any cars. There is no bias against any manufacturer. I mean who here wouldn't trade in their car for something else if they could afford it? The ******* on that other board just goes out and says i will kick your ass right away rather than saying sorry about your crash and glad you like the new car. Sorry about the post but I needed to vent after seeing that a**hole talk that s*it. Man I was about ready to troll but mofocus is right We don't need a board war. Glad you like your SVT man.!!

This guy blows my mind:

"You drive a Ford, thats all i got to say about that.. And of course your car will handle better 'a lil better', it weights no more than a matchbox. As for body roll, more than an a SUV if that was true, i would have flipped my car a long time ago.. Do you really want to talk about performance of a Mitsu Motor to a Ford Motor, you really dont wanna go there with me. When you make it back to Florida look me up, we'll see what your lil car can do..hahahah, a ford... I would rather drive a KIA.."

Is he freakin' serious?! Yeah all those decades of race-proven performance from Ford engines pales in the face of the mighty Mitsubishi V6. And I think it's fair to say the SVT handles WAY better than a Galant. And he might want to talk to GonFishin about that whole KIA thing.

I will walk from Des Moines to Alaska before I ever sit in a KIA again. I'm proud to drive my Ford and anybody that would even compare Ford to KIA quality wise has to be mentally unbalanced. They're not even in the same league. I know people usually think that whatever car they drive is the best, and that's alright. More power to the people who recognize their car, whether it be a Ford, Dodge, Chevy or anything else, for it's shortcomings and advantages. I know that there are plenty of cars out there that have got advantages in certain areas over the focus, and there are A LOT that have disadvantages, but for what it is, it blows most of them away with value. I'm sure most people on this board would toss the Focus if someone handed them an Sti, or an RX8, or a Lancer EVO, but that's not the point, the point is, you drive what is within your means, and for a lot of people that is the focus. I love driving my Focus and will continue to drive it until a better opportunity comes along for me (and it'll have to be quite a bit better). That's just my two cents worth.

LOL (SVT4ME)....what? am I now the Kia "go to" guy?? hahaha
Seriously...I was there about 6 months and went through constant management changes. I went through at least 5 (week long) training courses and they let a few of us in on product development. I went through the training courses mostly voluntarily because I was on salary + commission and couldn't sell the damn cars without feeling guilty about it, so I needed something to do while "earning" their money. lol

hahaahah nice...I would never own anything but a FORD, I'm so sad to hear that they are having money problems. It is true that all cars have their downfalls, but at least FORD says hey guess what, heres our recall, unlike my dads chevy that had 4 things done to it at the shop that were recalls but never called recalls to the public...they did fix them under the factory warranty but said they were non-related issues although the things were working fine b4 they changed em, obviuosly thats a recall that has never been told to the public...I'm with blackandgold on that issue there...thats the only main reason ppl bash fords...anyways I'm done with my rambling for now ;)
