ok i found this company that sells motors with a life time warranty

http://www.worldautoparts.com/?gclid...FQGnPAodwR4hAg

thats the site. for 1,600 u can get a motor with about 4-25k on them. for an extra 300 u can get a life time warranty, but have have to have a certified mechanic do the work and install the motor.also has to do the oil changes and so on, but this company will pay for parts.

so look at it like this. 1,600 for the motor, 300 for the life time warranty and 150 for shipping if u live in arkansas like i do. i dont think 2050 is that bad

so what do yal think? also i hope this in not braking the rules. if it is plz forgive me.

But...How much is that "certified mechanic" going to charge for the install?
Better add that in to your figure as well, and I'm sure it won't be cheap.
Then...add in how much more those "certified" oil changes are going to cost versus doing them yourself.
I don't see a core charge (including shipping your engine back to them) included.
^^^That's usually required with those types of companies as well.

I've had a lot of engines over the years, and the worst one I ever had was a mass production "lifetime warranty" rebuild.

Do you have decent engine shops in your area?
IMHO, having your original engine rebuilt by a shop you can trust/touch/feel/talk to is ALWAYS better than the sweat shop mass production crap that's out there.

What happened to your original engine?
