Idiot focus driver's- Story thread....

Post your stories about other people you have encountered on the road that were driving the beloved focus...

Ill start off.

I was on a major toll road on my way to school and this kid pulls next to me thinking hes all hot stuff... hes got that "gangster" stance with his seat all the way back and hes leaning wayy to far back to be able to see the road. I shrug it off as just another stupid florida driver. I get close to my exit but the guy in front of me is doing way under the speed limit. I get into the left lane and get up to the speed limit, at this point that focus was in front of me.... and he starts wailing his arms inside the car and flicking me off.... so at this point im like WTF did i do? Accelerating behind you? god forbid i speed up. so he gets into the right lane and starts hitting his door and waving his hand suggesting that i catch up next to him. I purposely slow down and pull into the right lane behind him and get off at my exit almost immediately. I see him flicking me off and screaming something (his face was beat red) as i was getting off of my exit.

Complete nonsense! I wish i knew what this kid was so heated about!

A couple weeks ago in NW Oregon on Hwy 99W which is a divided 4-lane with a grassy median, a 26 yr old woman drove on the left side of the road for a few miles during the early AM hours. She was driving a Focus, and finally collided head-on with four female college students in a Crown Vic. One of the students was killed and the others were injured. The Focus was totally destroyed by fire and the driver was killed instantly. I can't really say if this grim item qualifies as an "idiot Focus driver story", but for God's sake keep it on the right side of the road or stay the hell off.

Efficient? Yes.
Faster? No.

I'm not saying dual cam cars are slower, I'm just saying that because you slap another cam in an engine does not grant you fast and furiouzzzz speeds.

i had one encounter i can remember...i was coming home having my header installed and this guy in a black 05-07 sedan starts tailing me, inches from my bumper...i was going about 5 miles over the SL.
i pulled into the other lane to let him pass...he pulls beside me and starts revving...and revving...and looking at me...and revving...it was annoying as hell, so i gave him a rev and kinda smirked and the artard guns it. he weaves in and out of traffic and got off at the next exit.

and i said to myself..."WTF??"...the guy was bone stock BTW, aside from an aluminum wing.

I had one guy in a red ZX3 SVT tell me "my car would walk yo shit, that weak-a$$ base model crap" to which I replied, "well, yes, yours is an SVT. Mine's not a base model though, nor is it stock. Want to take it to the track sometime?"
"sissy" is the answer.
Okay dude, whatever. I'm sure, even though my car is mechanically stock other than a CAI and short shifter, I could have taken a mechanically stock SVT with the TC on and a dude that can't drive worth a crap driving....
