Ford & BP gas

It just a conversation starter,

Since my purchase of my 07 SES which I bought in september BTW, I have been grooling reading the owners manual several hundred times in a row. I am a big Citgo gas user for 6 or 7 year in a row and vertially I can't live without citgo.... (great gas company).

Ford recommend BP, so I was like.....right. U can't ignore the fact that Ford recommends something for this years focus; but it makes me kinda wonder.
Since I use to own a 02 SPI I read the owners manual and it never said that Ford recommend BP for that year model Focus....

Please correct me if im wrong.
I don't like BP or BP's other product of ARCO, It's just seem like it too me that Citgo is 2x better than this crap. And I know that all 53,000 members on here use a different type of gas product, right?

I use BP gas.....my car seems to run best on BP gas, so I've stuck with them. Plus they are one of the only gas stations around here that sells 92 octane gas, and that is what my car is tuned for, so just another reason I go with them.

I am a big fan of BP though. It might sound strange but in South Florida, they have given me the best mpg compared to other brands and octanes.

I know there shouldn't be a difference but still.

On the note about Citgo. I dont care too much for them. Part of Citgo is owned by a Venezuelan firm. I'm not a fan of Hugo Chaves and his whacked out views on the world. Such a man shouldn't be president.

On the hole, I don't care about Hugo Chavez. I don't buy gasoline to be reminded that Im putting money in south america's pocket; but the fact that Citgo gas burns complete believe it or not.

My little brother use to have this 1970 honda moped and use to buy el cheapo brand name gas (Who knows where it came from). I bought him some (mobile 1) 2 stroke oil and citgo, That thing just get's up and fly away... at my expense. Next thing he switches back to el cheapo gas; now his whole engine is just a ocean of gasoline that's not completely burned.
