SVT vs. N20

I have never herd about these 2 cars being compared. I have never seen a saleen in real life to examine one. If some of you could compare the handling, fun to drive, driver friendly, overall performance. Both with the N20 on the bottle and off.

To me it seemed like for the money an SVT is so much better and that the N20 relies to much on the bottle.

well the saleen focus is just a a slightly tweaked car. a lot has been done to he suspension and stuff but off the bottle she's still mostly stock. which means around 150 horse. svt beats that stock. but i'm sure if you turbo that saleen it would stand on it's tail and bark, (they probably didn't want it o beat their mustang either, lol)

There have been lots of threads like this... HAHA.. As j-svt_pr has shown... What Killer Zetec has said is right.. Although I think the Saleen is alittle Pricey for what you get.. Though it has nice suspension... and I do like the kit.. (A lota people dont)..

the svt is superior IMO...

the 2.3 is a good motor. but throw boost on both and watch that SVT walk away. and there is nothing like the getrag when it comes to shifting. it is amazing

The SVT outperforms the Saleen in most aspects, if not all.

I must disagree. I have a lot of buddies here in the valley who have an SVT, and with just an intake on the 2.3L I was able to actually beat them or at least least keep up. My 2.3 ran 16.0 at Palmdale (LACR) which we all know is the worst track, and with an intake it ran 15.6.

I also ran SVT's that are boosted and I beat them pretty bad.

dont get me wrong i like that motor. i just dont think its in any way superior to the SVT motor.
